About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting infrastructure projects across Canada. You will work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers to develop the technical skills needed to launch your career. This position offers the chance to contribute to projects in transportation, municipal infrastructure, land development, water resources, or construction.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to engineering calculations, technical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Assist in the development of drawings, specifications, sketches, and technical reports.
- Participate in field investigations, site visits, inspections, and data collection activities.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program at an accredited university.
- Commitment to return to full-time studies after the internship.
- Demonstrated interest in transportation, municipal infrastructure, land development, water resources, or construction engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals.

- Compensation: $24.00 to $32.25 per hour.
