About the role#
The Humanitarian Transformation Intern will join our team to advance digital and process improvements across our disaster management and humanitarian operations. You will support efforts to increase efficiency and impact through automation, data analysis, and technology. This role offers exposure to how digital tools support disaster response and field operations on a global scale.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test low-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Create productivity solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.
- Write user guides and implementation documentation to support new tools.
- Research emerging technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities relevant to humanitarian work.
- Conduct comparative assessments of potential technology solutions and develop pilot demonstrations.
- Collect and interpret project data to assist in the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States with a valid Social Security Number.
- Current enrollment in or graduation within the last two years from an undergraduate or graduate program in fields such as International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related areas.
- Ability to commit to at least 30 hours per week.
- Willingness to use your own electronic devices for internship tasks, including allowing the installation of endpoint security software.
- Adherence to the World Vision International Christian Statement of Faith.

- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The internship term runs from January 25, 2027, through April 23, 2027.
