About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Engineering Co-op position within the Manufacturing Engineering department. You will spend the Summer 2027 term gaining practical experience in the aerospace and energy industries. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects related to your academic interests and provides exposure to professional environments.
What you'll do#
- Complete daily tasks using MS Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Coordinate project details with other departments to meet schedules.
- Work independently on assigned tasks with support from supervisors.
- Ask questions and share your opinions on work processes.
- Learn from experts when you encounter problems beyond your current capabilities.
- Present a summary of your internship experience at the end of the term.
- Maintain regular attendance and report your GPA status to your leader.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least a sophomore in an accredited college or university program.
- An acceptable grade point average and good marks in relevant subjects.
- Competence with PCs, MS Office, and other software.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication, including good listening skills.
- Ability to manage your time well and work independently.
- High motivation, flexibility, and the ability to operate in a team environment.
- Solid command of the English language.
