About the role#
This co-op position offers students the chance to gain practical experience within the aerospace and energy industries. You will work on assigned projects, network with professionals, and learn from experienced team members. This role is a paid, part-time opportunity for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks on a computer using MS Office programs.
- Interact with team members daily and participate in discussions.
- Work independently on assigned tasks with supervisory oversight.
- Coordinate project details with other departments to meet schedules.
- Recognize when a problem exceeds your current capabilities and seek guidance from experts.
- Present a year-end summary of your internship experience.
- Maintain good attendance and report your GPA status to your leader on a quarterly or semester basis.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least a sophomore in an accredited college or university program.
- Maintain an acceptable grade point average and have good marks in relevant subjects.
- Competent skills in problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with PCs, MS Office, and other associated software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and manage your time effectively.
- High motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Zeeland, Michigan.
- The role is part-time and scheduled for the Summer 2027 term.
- Work is generally performed in an office environment, though some tasks may require time in plant areas with exposure to noise, dust, or varying temperatures.
