About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the Aerospace and Energy industry. You will work on projects related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and gain practical business experience. This is a paid, full-time summer 2027 opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Develop training matrices, content, and programs for EHS topics.
- Conduct hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and personal protective equipment assessments.
- Support incident response and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage the web-based safety management system.
- Assist the EHS Manager and internal teams with daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as at least a sophomore in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and general computer use.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage your time effectively.
- Status as a U.S. person as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations.

- Locations: Fort Collins, Colorado and Loves Park, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour for sophomores, $23.00 for juniors, and $25.00 for seniors.
