About the role#
The Community Impact Intern will support our corporate social responsibility efforts during the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our team to track community partnerships, manage volunteer initiatives, and assist in the development of our annual Community Impact Report. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Rosemont, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning, creation, and launch of the Community Impact Report.
- Develop communication collateral for both internal and external audiences.
- Collect testimonials from employees, community members, and customers.
- Maintain accurate records for partner organizations, including contact details, board representation, and event schedules.
- Manage events and pull reports using our volunteer software platform, including training others on the system.
- Attend community events as needed.
- Gather partner metrics and monitor internal data related to volunteer hours and nonprofit board involvement.
- Research financial education topics and benchmark our work against industry leaders.
- Handle administrative tasks such as invoice processing and Employee Match reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. college or university, ideally entering your junior or senior year.
- A major in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one Accounting course.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated leadership, volunteering, or extra-curricular experience.
- A strong focus on results.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

- This internship is located in Rosemont, Illinois.
- The program runs for 12 weeks from May through August 2027.
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role paid at $19.00 per hour.
- You will participate in development opportunities and events with the intern cohort.
