About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program running from May through August 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in an on-site capacity based in Rosemont, Illinois. During the program, you will join a cohort of interns for various activities, events, and development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Work with colleagues to meet business objectives and priorities.
- Gain insight into the corporate legal department, including litigation, compliance, corporate, and regulatory functions.
- Complete legal research and writing projects.
- Assist with subpoena responses, contract reviews, and other legal requests.
- Participate in regulatory compliance meetings.
- Accept and complete designated, business-focused projects.
- Engage with customers and provide service.
- Learn and become proficient on internal software systems.
- Develop an understanding of the company, including the brand, products, and service goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the first year of law school, with plans to start your second year in the fall of 2026.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent writing and communication abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
- Leadership skills and a focus on results.
