About the role#
This internship provides experience within the Wintrust Customer Contact Center. You will work in a full-time capacity for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. The program includes participation in cohort activities, events, community service projects, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests from internal and external customers.
- Use your knowledge of bank processes, procedures, and electronic systems to solve issues.
- Identify potential systemic problems.
- Coordinate the resolution of deposit, loan, and treasury management issues.
- Escalate complex matters to the appropriate operational departments.
- Advise and train internal customers through Branch Support Services.
- Maintain relationships with current customers and promote bank products to meet profitability goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. college or university, preferably entering your junior or senior year.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Prior experience in customer service.
- Demonstrated leadership, extra-curricular, or volunteering experience.
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. now and in the future.

- Compensation: $19.00 per hour.
