About the role#
Winland Foods is seeking a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, and HR Systems. You will work on meaningful projects with mentorship from our team, gain exposure to both corporate and manufacturing environments, and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Learn the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluating, and screening candidates.
- Participate in the new hire onboarding process and New Hire Orientation.
- Support key HR group projects and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with employee relations and field HR teams.
- Develop company communications.
- Utilize data to assist with reporting, presentations, and decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time student status pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, both overall and within your major.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with Teams.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work.

- Modality: Hybrid (in-office Tuesday through Thursday, remote on Monday and Friday).
