About the role#
We are looking for a motivated Master's student to join our team for a Summer 2027 internship. You will work directly with our plant HR team to support a large hourly workforce. This role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, talent processes, and people analytics. You will gain insight into how a business functions from the ground up while making a tangible impact on the employees who bring our products to life.
What you'll do#
- Support talent acquisition and onboarding for hourly and salaried plant roles, including conducting interviews and new-hire orientations.
- Assist the HR team with employee relations, attendance tracking, and performance conversations.
- Collect, analyze, and report on HR data such as turnover, absenteeism, and safety metrics.
- Contribute to training programs, safety culture initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.
- Participate in HR improvement projects focused on retention and capability-building.
- Shadow plant leadership and HR team members to understand the drivers of business success.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with employment laws and company procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's program for Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- A strong interest in manufacturing or plant-based human resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with hourly employees, supervisors, and leadership.
- High degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Preferred: Prior HR internship experience, SHRM-aligned coursework, or familiarity with manufacturing environments.

- Status: Full-time, paid position at $25 per hour.
- Locations: Princeton, Kentucky or Carrollton, Texas.
- Modality: On-site at the plant, with potential for some hybrid or project-based flexibility.
