About the role#
We are looking for a motivated student to join our Financial Shared Services team in De Pere, Wisconsin for a Summer 2027 internship. This role provides practical experience in trade promotion management and financial operations within a food manufacturing environment. You will work alongside finance professionals to develop your analytical and collaboration skills.
What you'll do#
- Analyze trade promotion over and under-accruals and identify opportunities to present recommendations to sales partners.
- Evaluate forecasting variances by volume, rates, timing, product, and location.
- Support contract validation activities for trade promotions and customer agreements.
- Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Shared Services teams.
- Use business systems including SAP, Vistex, IRI, Power BI, and Copilot.
- Complete an internship project focused on improving processes, reporting, or business performance.
- Attend weekly sessions to engage with Finance leadership.
- Build professional relationships through networking.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation to the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Leadership Team.
What you'll need#
- 2 to 3 years of progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related major.
- Overall and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in accounting, finance, and operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with senior management.
- Strong organizational skills.
