About the role#
Winland Foods is seeking a Marketing Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience in the business strategies behind food manufacturing. You will support the corporate team with market research, product development, operational tasks, and cross-departmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering and analyzing market data, trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to support the development of new products.
- Help the Corporate Business Unit Manager with day-to-day operations, including production scheduling and inventory management.
- Work with finance, sales, and marketing teams to collect data and insights that impact business performance.
- Maintain databases and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, both overall and within your major.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, with in-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.
- This is a full-time, paid summer internship running from May to August 2027.
