About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in planning, producing, and editing content for digital marketing and eCommerce. You will create photo and video assets for digital advertisements, product listings, and social media channels. Most of your work will take place outdoors and in real-world environments rather than in a studio. You will work under close supervision to learn our processes and contribute to team projects.
What you'll do#
- Capture photo and video content for digital advertising campaigns.
- Create content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Produce visual assets to support product listings and online selling platforms.
- Assist with video and image editing, as well as organizing digital assets and project files.
- Collaborate with eCommerce Sales and Merchandising team members to execute content strategies.
- Develop a basic understanding of our products, processes, and marketing objectives.
- Create and review spreadsheets, reports, and other supporting documentation.
- Perform administrative tasks related to content production.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Access to video recording equipment, such as a smartphone or camera, capable of producing high-quality content.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook.
- Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut.
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to content capture locations.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- A portfolio of personal projects, social media examples, or previous work.
- Experience with short-form video, photography, videography, or digital storytelling is a plus.
- Familiarity with eCommerce marketplaces and social media analytics is helpful.
