About the role#
Western National Insurance is hiring a Desktop Services Intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will work directly with the Desktop Services team to support daily operations and various IT projects. This is a paid, full-time internship based at our corporate office in Edina, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Act as the first point of contact for calls and walk-up service requests.
- Document, log, and resolve basic technical incidents.
- Collaborate with other service desk team members to address complex issues.
- Build relationships with internal customers by providing professional and helpful support.
- Communicate project progress clearly to stakeholders.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Two years of college experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to listen and ask relevant questions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.
- Proficiency with core systems, office equipment, and standard software packages.
- Ability to work on-site at our Edina office.

- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
