About the role#
Western National Insurance is hiring a Premium Audit Intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will work with the Premium Audit team to gain experience in underwriting, classification, financial analysis, and risk. This role involves interaction with business owners and insurance professionals while supporting daily operations and various departmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Respond to audit inquiries from agents, policyholders, and internal departments.
- Assist with the intake, prioritization, and assignment of premium audits.
- Monitor audit status and follow up on overdue or outstanding items.
- Attend departmental meetings and initiatives to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist the team with ongoing projects and learn about the Commercial Insurance industry.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completed two years of college is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with various departments.
- An interest in or experience with the insurance industry.
- Ability to work on-site at our corporate office.
