About the role#
The Quantitative Analytics Program is a 12-month development opportunity for PhD candidates. You will participate in two six-month rotations, working alongside experienced professionals to apply advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to complex business challenges. The program includes mentorship, technical training, and exposure to senior leaders. Upon completion, you will transition into a permanent role within a quant team aligned with your skills and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Develop pricing and risk models for trading desks.
- Enhance production models to maintain performance standards.
- Create simulation models to forecast trading portfolio losses.
- Build benchmark models to assess the limitations of existing production models.
- Analyze and report on metrics used to track ongoing model performance.
- Apply statistical and quantitative techniques to validate model design, calibration, and implementation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- A Master's degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analytics, gained through work, training, or education.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, SQL, and Java.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply research, data analysis, and modeling to generate insights.
