About the role#
The Audit Summer Internship Program is a 10-week professional development experience within the Internal Audit division. This program provides an introduction to Wells Fargo operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. As an intern, you will work as part of an independent assurance function that evaluates risk management, control, and governance processes across the company. The experience includes relationship building, coaching, group projects, and learning sessions with leadership.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the formal Internal Audit internship program.
- Complete various audit assignments while becoming familiar with policies, procedures, and audit methodology.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve team goals.
- Work under the guidance and direction of experienced audit staff and managers.
- Engage in performance feedback sessions and contribute to group projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a technology-related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 6 months of work experience or equivalent through training, military experience, or education.
- Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools for research, organizing information, and presentations.
- Demonstrated business acumen and a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- This is a full-time, paid internship running from June through August 2027.
