About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office to assist with tax strategy and planning. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to learn how tax accounting connects with financial services. This role offers hands-on experience while you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability and prepare tax projections for clients.
- Collaborate with the tax team to service client accounts.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Plan to earn an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Professional accountability and the ability to manage competing priorities.
