About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to understand how tax planning fits into broader financial services. This role offers flexible hours to support your ongoing degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Work with the tax team to assist in servicing clients.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Manage other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You have the ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- You intend to complete your Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Office applications.
- You have a strong work ethic and the ability to manage competing priorities.
