About the role#
This internship position is part of the Technology, Data, AI, and Ventures organization. You will gain hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying AI systems and infrastructure within a financial services environment. This role focuses on engineering, software development, scalability, and the integration of machine learning models.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and Generative AI models for production environments.
- Support the development and enhancement of machine learning and AI capabilities.
- Design and test new patterns for model deployment using Python APIs.
- Improve MLOps and DevOps platforms through the use of dashboards and monitoring tools such as New Relic.
- Contribute to automation frameworks that ensure model reliability and performance at scale.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with APIs.
- Solid understanding of automated testing and DevOps tools, including EKS, CI/CD, and New Relic.
- Ability to work full-time for the 11-week duration of the program from May to August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship (this program is not available to those authorized to work under OPT or CPT).

- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week required on-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with a salary range of $30 to $35 per hour plus a $3,000 bonus.
