About the role#
The 2027 Actuarial Summer Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time, paid experience running from May 25th to August 12th. Interns participate in practical projects, technical skills training, and a weekly lecture series. The program includes mentorship, meetings with senior management, and networking opportunities. This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY.
What you'll do#
- Develop premiums and benefits for new or enhanced insurance and annuity products.
- Project the profitability of company products.
- Quantify risk exposure and propose methods to minimize risk.
- Perform actuarial and statistical analytics.
- Optimize existing actuarial processes.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate working toward a Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred majors include Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with modeling packages, programming languages, spreadsheets, and database software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn and identify opportunities for process improvement.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in office).
- Compensation: $29-$34 per hour.
