About the role#
The Treasury Operations Co-op supports the Corporate Treasury team with cash reconciliation, forecasting, and management reporting. You will assist with daily cash management activities and gain exposure to foreign exchange hedging, investing, and bank account management. This role requires cross-training to support various functions within the department.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile cash accounts and project cash activity.
- Assist with daily global cash positioning.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash position reports.
- Maintain treasury operations files.
- Assist in the resolution of inquiries and investigations.
- Deposit checks to the bank as needed.
- Attend monthly bank calls.
- Support special projects and ad hoc reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in accounting or finance at Northeastern University.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and basic formulas.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage strict deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Maturity to handle confidential responsibilities.
- Prior co-op experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).
- Employment Type: Full-time paid position.
- Eligibility: Only Northeastern University students are eligible.
