    About the role#

    The Bond Forward Trade Specialist Co-op joins the Trade Operations team to support domestic and international post-execution trade activities. You will gain experience in trading and settlement practices within global financial markets while working alongside traders, salespeople, and back office personnel.

    What you'll do#

    • Confirm and instruct cash or security movements for bond forward trade activity.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, broker-dealers, and custodian banks to ensure accurate cash payments and trade settlements.
    • Research and resolve TBA pairoff activity.
    • Conduct weekly reviews of physical mail.
    • Manage ad hoc project work as assigned.
    • Train the incoming co-op student at the end of your cycle.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
    • Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
    • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a challenging environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Modality: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
