About the role#
The Bond Forward Trade Specialist Co-op joins the Trade Operations team to support domestic and international post-execution trade activities. You will gain experience in trading and settlement practices within global financial markets while working alongside traders, salespeople, and back office personnel.
What you'll do#
- Confirm and instruct cash or security movements for bond forward trade activity.
- Coordinate with internal teams, broker-dealers, and custodian banks to ensure accurate cash payments and trade settlements.
- Research and resolve TBA pairoff activity.
- Conduct weekly reviews of physical mail.
- Manage ad hoc project work as assigned.
- Train the incoming co-op student at the end of your cycle.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a challenging environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
