About the role#
This internship provides support to the Procurement Department at WEC Energy Group. You will work on the delivery of materials and services while helping to design systems that keep energy flowing safely to customers. This is a full-time position for Summer 2027, with the potential to continue part-time during the academic year.
What you'll do#
- Manage and execute projects assigned by Procurement managers or directors to support process improvements.
- Assist the Business Performance team with data management, procurement support, and accounts payable tasks.
- Support buyers in the creation and management of Purchase Orders and Contracts.
- Help with the request for quote, proposal, and information processes.
- Use software applications such as SAP, Taulia, and AdobeSign, as well as Microsoft Office products like Excel and Outlook.
- Work on miscellaneous special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
- A graduation date after June 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- The role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with time spent in the office.
- The pay range for this role is $21.30 to $24.60 per hour.
