About the role#
This is a full-time internship based in Whitewater, Wisconsin, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the operation, maintenance, and performance of power plant facilities. This role provides hands-on experience and professional mentorship within our power generation fleet.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot operation and maintenance issues.
- Conduct failure investigations.
- Assist with project support and the management of small projects.
- Review and update technical drawings and procedures.
- Monitor equipment reliability and plant performance.
- Ensure all work follows relevant codes and standards.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Valid driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
