About the role#
Wind Energy Transmission Texas is hiring an Operations Intern for Summer 2027. This role supports the System Operations team in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of transmission assets. You will work alongside industry experts to gain exposure to the operations, maintenance, and planning of transmission infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Assist with field data collection.
- Support operational analysis projects.
- Help with process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members on daily transmission tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. Juniors or seniors are preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is a plus.
