About the role#
Wind Energy Transmission Texas is hiring a Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Austin to support project delivery from the initial planning stages through final execution. This role offers exposure to the operations and maintenance of our transmission infrastructure while you work alongside industry professionals.
What you'll do#
- Track project milestones to ensure progress.
- Prepare regular progress reports.
- Assist in the coordination of project timelines and budgets.
- Help manage cross-functional communication across teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Juniors or seniors are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is helpful but not required.
