About the role#
Weaver is hiring Tax Interns for the Spring 2028 season in the Central Region. This internship provides practical experience during our peak season. You will work alongside our teams to support client engagements and build professional connections. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns from start to finish.
- Gain exposure to various types of tax returns, including those for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
- Collaborate with fellow interns and firm leaders.
- Participate in formal and on-the-job training.
- Work on client engagements, which may require travel and overtime hours.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with the goal of meeting CPA credit requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role.
- Locations include Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Midland, San Antonio, and The Woodlands, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Compensation is $35.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and location.
