About the role#
Weaver is hiring Audit Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience and professional training. You will work on various client engagements and gain practical knowledge across multiple audit sections. This role is a starting point for a career in accounting and includes both formal and on-the-job training.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on client work from the office or at client sites.
- Engage with multiple clients throughout the internship.
- Participate in different sections of the audit process.
- Take on an integral role within your assigned engagement teams.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A goal to earn the necessary credit hours to become a CPA.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Availability for potential overtime.
