About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position within the Mergers and Acquisitions Tax group at RSM US LLP. You will gain experience in a professional accounting environment while supporting our client service teams.
What you'll do#
- Execute core functions of the intern role.
- Contribute to team objectives and projects.
- Maintain high quality standards for all deliverables.
- Support the delivery of tax services to clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Completion of 90 semester credit hours or the quarter equivalent by the start date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Ability to work extended or non-standard hours during peak periods.

- Location: McLean, Virginia.
- Modality: This is an on-site role requiring a consistent presence in the office and at client sites.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Requirements: Access to reliable transportation is necessary. Sponsorship for work authorization is not provided.
