About the role#
Weaver is hiring Audit Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting through client engagements. You will work from the Weaver office or at client sites. The role is full-time and paid at an hourly rate of $35.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to client engagements.
- Gain practical knowledge and build professional connections.
- Complete formal and on-the-job training.
- Work with multiple clients across different audit sections.
- Manage tasks that may require overtime.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Accounting or a related field.
- Intent to obtain the credit hours required for CPA licensure.
- Ability to travel to client sites when necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
Location & details#
This position is on-site at one of the following locations: New York, NY; Jericho, NY; Little Falls, NJ; Bethesda, MD; or Boston, MA. Please note that Weaver does not provide sponsorship for this role.
