About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. You will work with multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements and apply your accounting knowledge to real client work. This role involves shadowing audit professionals at all levels and participating in team training initiatives. You will also complete and present on a marketing or research project.
What you'll do#
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using firm technology.
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
- Shadow audit professionals of all levels.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions, including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. This position does not offer work sponsorship.
