About the role#
This internship provides insight into the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements to build a foundation for your career. This is a full-time, paid position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge while performing client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend social functions including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting, finance, or business administration program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
