About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Cherry Bekaert, you will gain direct insight into the public accounting profession. This role provides a foundation for your career through hands-on experience and professional exposure. You will work with multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete and present a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, with graduation expected within two years.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
