About the role#
This summer internship provides an introduction to the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors across a range of client engagements. This role offers a chance to build a foundation for your career through hands-on experience and professional mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals across all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend social functions, including community service projects and office outings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or business administration program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Experience with client engagements is a plus.

- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- Term: Summer 2028.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
