About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements while applying your accounting knowledge using firm technology. This position offers the opportunity to shadow audit professionals at all levels and participate in team building and training initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Perform client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals of all levels.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior standing in an accredited accounting or related program, with at least two years remaining until graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. We do not provide work sponsorship for this position.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The term for this internship is Summer 2028.
- This position is paid, with a salary range of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
