About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of accounting within the commercial real estate sector. You will work alongside managers and teams to provide service to clients while gaining hands-on experience in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Review, reconcile, and resolve client issues.
- Analyze, prepare, and post journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements and check them for accuracy.
- Provide professional customer service to Client Accounting and Property Management teams.
- Assist with general office tasks, including mail distribution and inventory management for office supplies.
- Cover the front desk as needed and assist management with special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with accounts payable or accounts receivable is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of files or supplies.

- Compensation: $17.85 - $21.00 per hour.
