About the role#
The EIC Summer Intern program is an eight-week experience based in Philadelphia. It is designed for rising college juniors and seniors who want hands-on experience in commercial real estate. You will work with various teams to support business activities, complete special projects, and assist with client service.
What you'll do#
- Gather information, conduct research, and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Assist teams with daily tasks and projects.
- Respond to day-to-day requests to ensure timely information delivery.
- Review and analyze real estate documents like leases, appraisals, and operating expense statements.
- Prepare summary reports and track project timelines.
- Shadow senior professionals during transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
- Support outreach efforts to potential clients.
- Contribute to the creation of pitch decks and client deliverables.
- Develop professional expertise through on-the-job training and collaboration.
- Attend global and local internship programming and mentorship events.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a business-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A high sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to July 30).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: Permanent US work authorization is required. We do not provide relocation assistance or housing.
