About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in commercial real estate accounting. You will work alongside managers and teams to learn core accounting fundamentals while supporting daily office operations.
What you'll do#
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Review, reconcile, and resolve client issues.
- Analyze, prepare, and post journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements and check them for accuracy and audit compliance.
- Provide responsive customer service to Client Accounting and Property Management requests.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Manage office supply inventory and distribution of mail.
- Cover the front desk when the Office Coordinator is away.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, with a preference for juniors and seniors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to new tasks quickly.
- Previous accounts payable or receivable experience is preferred.

- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Employment Type: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $17.85 - $21.00 per hour.
