About the role#
Realty Income Corporation is looking for Accounting & Finance interns for the Summer 2027 program. This 10-week internship is based at our San Diego headquarters. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-time business challenges. Interns own a defined project, deliver tangible results, and present their findings to senior stakeholders at the end of the summer. Strong performers may be considered for a part-time co-op in the fall or a full-time offer after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Own one end-to-end project tied to a real business priority, such as analyzing portfolio performance, improving a reporting process, or building a new tool.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and analysis while validating outputs and applying your own judgment.
- Collaborate across departments and with business stakeholders to move work forward.
- Develop capabilities in critical thinking, problem solving, and applying a digital-first mindset.
- Present findings or recommendations to senior stakeholders at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business, or a related field with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate, finance, accounting, data, or technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Active user of AI tools in studies or projects with the ability to explain how you verify output quality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and learning agility.
- Data literacy and a detail-oriented approach to work.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Prior internship or work experience in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-relevant tools or platforms is a plus.
- Experience presenting to senior audiences is a plus.

- Location: San Diego, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (Monday through Thursday in-office, Friday remote).
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
