About the role#
As a Corporate Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with the daily responsibilities of an accountant at Greystar. This full-time internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term in Charleston, South Carolina. You will work on-site, completing training programs and collaborating with senior team members on financial reports and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare journal entries and review financial statements.
- Approve invoices and work within our ERP system.
- Support special projects by partnering with other teams to reach goals.
- Create documentation for processes, procedures, and testing results.
- Conduct research and prepare an assessment of a conceptual idea within the department.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a major in Accounting with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A quantitative background that shows analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A high standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
