About the role#
Eagle Rock Properties is hiring an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals at our corporate office to understand daily accounting tasks and principles. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule designed to fit around your university commitments.
What you'll do#
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including receipts and invoices.
- Enter data into spreadsheets or accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, such as invoice verification and payment processing.
- Help reconcile bank statements and track down discrepancies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other accounting tools is a plus.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
