What you'll do#
- Use generative AI, such as LLMs and VLMs, to improve signal quality in large-scale perception evaluation workflows.
- Expand the discovery evaluation system to include a wider range of perception signals.
- Design and develop frameworks to evaluate multi-task perception models.
- Work with ML and infrastructure engineers to integrate new signals into end-to-end model launch evaluations.
- Assess how improvements affect evaluation quality by focusing on precision, recall, and reliability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ and the ability to navigate large codebases.
- Experience building or evaluating machine learning models.
- Background in data analysis and statistical evaluation.
- Familiarity with perception models, specifically object generation and semantics.
