About the role#
This internship supports the social media marketing efforts for Volvo CE North America. You will help develop content, manage social channels, and contribute to overall strategy. This is a paid, on-site position located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Create roughly 50% of the monthly social media content for Volvo CE North America, including writing posts and captions.
- Manage and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Take photos and videos, and edit them using tools like Canva or Adobe Premiere.
- Assist the Public Relations and Events team with photoshoots, videos, and graphic design.
- Maintain social media management tools including monday.com and Sprout Social.
- Engage with the community by liking, commenting, and reposting user-generated content.
- Monitor social media trends to provide insights for content strategy.
- Attend meetings with marketing agency partners.
- Suggest evergreen content ideas and support the dealer marketing team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business degree program, specifically Marketing or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours before the internship starts.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw insights from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

- Compensation: $17.00 - $46.00 per hour, depending on factors such as academic classification and degree program.
