About the role#
This is a manufacturing engineering internship at the Volvo Group plant in Middletown, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site during the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of new products within the plant.
- Solve production problems related to materials, manufacturing processes, and tooling.
- Determine equipment and tooling needs for your department.
- Coordinate the implementation of new equipment with the maintenance team.
- Perform high-level problem solving using classical tools.
- Communicate regularly with engineers and project managers to share information and resources.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program at an accredited school.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate study.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid US work authorization.
