About the role#
This internship supports technical services projects focused on product uptime for our customers. You will work within the Technical Support Services team to coordinate projects from start to finish, interacting with various technical teams and business stakeholders. The role supports both Mack and Volvo brands, with a focus on reducing customer downtime and improving our aftermarket services.
What you'll do#
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables under the direction of the Technical Service Manager.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
- Document technical requirements and outcomes for Uptime Operations, Customer Support, and Trucks Technology teams.
- Participate in hands-on product training and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Learn product details and problem-solving techniques to support dealer and customer needs.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify areas of technical interest that align with business goals.
- Deliver a final presentation on your assigned project at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's Degree program for Diesel, Automotive, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
- Two or more years of experience in heavy truck electronics and engine diagnostics is preferred.
- A focus on customer service and experience is a plus.
