About the role#
The VCA ASEC Rotating Intern position is a full-time, paid opportunity designed for individuals pursuing careers in veterinary medicine. This internship offers exposure to a wide range of clinical environments within a professional veterinary hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in rotations through various departments of veterinary care.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with daily medical procedures.
- Engage with clients in a professional and supportive manner.
- Learn and apply practical knowledge of animal health and veterinary practices.
- Support the overall daily operations of the veterinary hospital.
What you'll need#
- A strong commitment to veterinary medicine and animal care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new clinical situations.
- Pursuing a degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Public Health.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal-related field is considered a plus.
