About the role#
The VCA ASEC Specialty Intern position for 2026-27 is a full-time, paid opportunity based in Los Angeles, California. This role is designed for students interested in veterinary medicine who want to gain hands-on experience in a specialty care setting during the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist veterinary staff with medical procedures and physical examinations.
- Support veterinarians and technicians in providing daily patient care.
- Help with patient follow-up tasks.
- Learn and follow established clinic protocols.
- Contribute to the daily operations and team environment of the hospital.
What you'll need#
