About the role#
The Specialty Intern in Neurology supports clinical operations in accordance with the program description established by VIRMP.org. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Los Angeles, California.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological conditions.
- Support veterinarians during neurological examinations.
- Participate in active case management and ongoing patient care.
- Collaborate with the broader veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Observe and engage in client interactions under direct supervision.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current associate; internal applicants must apply through the internal career site.
- Adherence to the program requirements as stated in VIRMP.org.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within an organized structure.
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy for both clients and their pets.
- Preferred: Relevant experience in veterinary medicine or neurology.
- Recommended academic background in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, or Psychology.
