About the role#
As a Project Mining Engineer intern, you will work directly within a plant’s mining operations. This role offers exposure to multi-disciplinary work across various stages of projects. You will handle real assignments that directly impact the facility and gain a broad view of mining and quarry operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support for daily mining operations.
- Assist with the planning and execution of capital projects.
- Focus on improvements to employee safety, production efficiency, and product quality.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Completion of at least the first term of your sophomore year.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
